All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

I wanted to create some really tiny gemstone earrings, and these bright sky blue/light blue although small pack a punch of colour.

Full description
Super tiny 2.5mm turquoise in a cabochon shape have been bezel set into recycled sterling silver stud earrings. The earring closures are scrolls that are also recycled sterling silver.
As these stone are natural turquoise, one of the stones has very slight dark brown edge to it right next to bezel edge of the bezel.
Cabochons are where stones have been cut so that bottom is flat and the top is domed.
Bezel set is where a thin strip of metal (in this case recycled sterling silver) has been pushed and rubbed against a stone closing in on it, holding the stone in place. It leave a nice smooth band around the stone.
The simple design and delightful bright colour lend itself to be worn by all genders and ages.
Turquoise is one of December's birthstones, along with zircon and tanzanite.
Come packaged in a small card box, posted by Royal Mail tracked 24 service. Dispatched between 1 - 3 working days.
