All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

Full description
The small disc at the bottom of the earrings have been handmade by pushing a small round piece of precious metal clay (PMC) onto an old watch strap to create the pattern, which once fired it form solid fine silver. The patterned discs are attached to the recycled sterling silver earring ball posts with sterling silver wire, with tiny faceted round shaped natural amazonite beads.
The details of the patterned discs have been oxidised for more definition.
The butterfly scroll backs are recycled sterling silver.
The earrings measure 2.4cm in length. the tiny discs measure 0.7cm. The amazonite beads are only 0.2cm across.
