Of course we all know that natural pearls have been harvested, used and traded for thousands of years by many ancient cultures. Inevitably demand outstripped supply and thus the cultured pearl was developed by the Chinese in13th Century by inserting an irritant into oyster shells that would be coated in secretions by the mollusk, thus slowly building up in layers over the foreign body material forming a pearl. Traditionally, pearls represent purity, wisdom and emotional balance. They are said to be associated with the feminine energy of the Moon, water, healing and fertility.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
