I have made these deep purple 14mm quartzite beads the star of the show here as they are now extremely difficult, if not impossible, to source. Thus they are not combined with other beads and are contrasted by the brightness of the antique bronze plated findings. The wires are also designed for the weighted long drop as they are reinforced i.e. slightly more substantial than standard earring wires.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

These beautifully flattering Deep Purple Large 14mm Smooth Quartzite Beaded Long Drop Earrings have a lot of elegance and style. The bead size and colour is significant as 14mm coloured beaded quartz is now extremely difficult to source. They are completely made with Antique Bronze findings and combine modern chic with a touch of antiquity. Length drop from the ear wire is approximately 9.5cm, this gives a nice swing that appears to slim down the face or accentuate long hair. Perfect for evening wear and special events. These earrings will come in a branded Catpurr Jewellery gift box which can make a lovely gift extra special.
Quartzite
Quartzite has undergone geological metamorphic processes making it relatively high on the Mohs scale at number 7, and would likely be the reason this rock was first used in prehistoric times to make tools and arrowheads. Quartz naturally forms in mountainous ranges and its modern cost value is associated with the expense and resources required to mine and extract it.
