Black Obsidian
In times gone by, many ancient civilisations e.g. the Aztecs, Native Americans and Ancient Greeks used Black Obsidian as an important craft resource to make tools, sharp implements, weapons, ornaments etc. due to its hard and sharp qualities. Its highly reflective surface naturally lent itself well to jewellery, ornaments, ritual tools and mirrors and was valued more than gold by the ancient Myans. Today it is still valued as a jewellery material; its shine, durability and beauty is highly appropriate for the purpose and as a body adornment is very alluring. Obsidian is said to be good for intellectual focus, to have psychic cleansing ability, and to be a stone to bring about holistic feelings of wellbeing. Obsidian is prized for its stabilising properties and is said to bring a sense of one's natural order in nature. Contact me about the properties of white magnesite and quartz if you would like to know.

A charming black obsidian stone, white crystal and white magnesite matching bracelet and anklet set. This gorgeous composition starts with an 8mm white magnesite round bead, topped with a silver plated wire coil, followed by alternating 8mm black obsidian stone beads and clusters of white quartz chips. Both the bracelet and anklet are fastened by a silver plated toggle clasp and bar which is easy to use and keeps everything secure. These pieces bring to mind beautiful scenes of sunshine, sand, and celebration, so whether it’s Cornwall, Cancun, or the local wine bar, you will be sure to find this bracelet and anklet just the right thing for your leisure plans.
