All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

I love creating what I like to call a pebble texture, created by hammering the silver against concrete to form a pebble or rock like surface. I felt this would be super cute as a texture on tiny heart studs.
I live on an Island, so it is quite hard not to be inspired by the sea. I make my jewellery in a small shed studio, which I have been told the interior looks like a beach hut.

Full description
Small heart shapes have been cut from recycled sterling silver. I bash the silver against concrete to form a stone like texture. Recycled sterling silver stud pins are soldered onto the backs of the hearts.
Butterfly scroll back earring fittings, also recycled sterling silver.
The earrings are small, they measure 7mm x 5mm.
Can take between 2 - 5 days to be dispatched, depending on order levels.
