All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

Turquoise is one of my favourite colours. Each of these turquoise beads on these earrings is slightly different, so each earring is unique.
These earrings are a new version, they had been made with 4mm turquoise beads, these are 3mm.
Turquoise is December's birthstone.
Turquoise, is linked to protection, healing, success and good fortune.

Full description
The hammered bar has been handmade by hammering all around 3cm lengths of 0.2cm round recycled sterling silver wire. a thinner recycled sterling silver wire has been soldered onto the top so that the tiny turquoise beads can be threaded on and the wire wrapped around to attach the recycled sterling silver ball earring posts.
Full length of the earrings from the very top to the very bottom 5.6cm
The earrings fittings are recycled sterling silver butterfly backs.
These earrings are ready made and can take between 1 - 3 working days before being dispatched.
