Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with paints, fabric, collage and clay and particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

Full description
'Twilight in the garden' is from my ‘Birds & blooms’ collection and shows a teal coloured folk bird surrounded by flowers.
The design has been printed onto cotton fabric and I've painted it with inks to create a twilight feel. The bird's wing has been hand stitched using batik and Indian sequinned trim. I've added hand stitching to the bird, some of which is in metallic thread to add a bit of shimmer. The larger flowers have been embellished with embroidery threads, seed beads and sequins.
The picture comes in a good quality double mount. Outer measurements 8 x 8 inches. Visible area 5.5 x 5.5 inches.
The artwork will be sent Royal Mail, second class large letter.
