My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

Full description
A colourful, one-of-a-kind handmade card that could be used to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Fire Horse.
At its centre is a pretty Canadian postage stamp with a red metallic horse. I've mounted it on black paper and made a border using origami papers in shades of red and gold. The papers have metallic gold in them which adds a lovely bit of sparkle.
The card measures approx. 10cm x 15cm and is blank inside.
