This one-of-a-kind mixed media piece would make a lovely gift for Mother's Day or for anyone who is a nature lover.
I've chosen a colour palette of greens and oranges for this picture of a bird foraging in an Autumn garden. It has been created using layers of decoupage papers and fabrics, many of them batiks. I've also used embroidery threads and seed beads which adds a bit of sparkle and texture.
The artwork is presented in a good quality double mount. The outer measurements are 8 x 6 inches and the inside aperture is 3.75 x 5.75 inches.
It is titled and signed on reverse and comes with a gift tag.
