I'm on holiday from 22nd September 2024 until 3rd October 2024 and my shop will closed during that time.
I like to push the boundaries of traditional ceramic forms, so I exaggerated the spout on this jug to give a fun look, gave it a larger-than-life handle, and used abstract art as my starting point for the decoration. The black background acts as a contrast to the warm spectrum of colours.

Full description
This handmade ceramic jug vase which will brighten up your living space with its earthy colour block design in orange and yellows and its fun cheerful spout shape. Handmade from black stoneware clay, with keynote colour detailing on the top of the handle, it is perfect for an unusual gift, or to hold a few buds and flowers in your home. I decorated the outside with blocks of mingled colour, creating panels on either side of the vase. The handle has stripes of the same colours to add to the individual look. The inside is glazed with lovely rich tones, but I’ve left the outside of the jug the matt finish of the natural clay and coloured slip. It’s not suitable for food use or to hold consumable liquids due to the unglazed exterior. 18cms high by 7cms at the widest part of the oval base.
