This was inspired by the painting Birch Wood by Klimt. I am a huge fan of Klimt and although he is most well known for his beautiful decorative portraits, he painted some really stunning landscapes and I particularly love this painting with its subtle colours and textures. I have tried to capture some of those subtle shades in this weaving.
