Using Oak leaves found locally, the wings of this Nature Sprite have been created by imprinting into the wet clay.
Inspired by Nature and Folklore, these small sculptural Sprites come ready to hang, bringing a bit of interest to a small corner of the garden on an ivy covered wall or nestled into a bush but would be equally as happy in an indoors setting brightening up a small space or beside some house plants, bringing a bit of the outdoors indoors.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This ceramic piece has been made from Stoneware clay, imprinted with plant materials such as Oak and pine fronds, one of a recent batch of Nature Sprites.
After an initial first firing, the ceramic piece has been stained with various metallic oxides and stoneware glazes enhancing the fine lines and details from the imprinted plants before being fired for a second time up to a high temperature making the Sprite Frost proof, so suitable for an outdoor setting.
Can be hung by threading a length of garden wire threaded through a clay bead attached to the reverse as shown in one of the images.
This Oak Leaf Sprite is approx 8.5 cm at the highest point, 10.5 at widest point and an approx width of 5.5 cm inclusive of hanging mechanism on reverse.
