These miniature Bud Vases are designed as if a three dimensional, free standing painting.
Inspired by a stretch of local landscape, using a palette of Autumnal coloured glazes, evoking the feeling of a walk along the Scottish Coastline.
Each one thrown with the same weight of clay, but each one unique, the shape based on old ceramic inkwell bottles.
Just the right size to fit on a mantle piece or small space and show off a few flowers, leaves or seed heads from the garden or found outside depending on the season, but equally attractive when empty, singly or grouped in two's or three's.
Each one stamped with my makers mark on bottom edge.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
Using a potter's kick whee,l I have thrown a small batch of these miniature Bud Vases using the same weight of clay for each, but all unique.
Left to dry, bases trimmed when leather hard, they then receive a first firing, before being layered with various glazes,oxides and liquid wax creating an Autumnal like landscape surface.
The wax burns off during the second firing.
This vase measures approx 5.5 cm high, 6 cm at the base, narrowing to approx 2.8 cm at the opening.
