These keepsake Hedgehogs are inspired by an interest in Folklore and animals,combined with nearby Woodland areas, easily accessed by a network of paths, supporttig a variety of birds, insects and animals, provides a constant source of inspiration.
This miniature sculpture comes in its own customized, keepsake box, making a thoughfull small gift for someone or yourself.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

These little Keepsake Hedgehogs, have been carefully handcrafted and textured using earthenware buff clay.
After dryng they recieve a first firing in the kiln, then layers of coloured stains are painted on to enhance the fine textures of the body and face, before finally being dipped into a clear glaze, which will give the whole piece a glossy, tactile finish after a glaze firing.
These ceramic Hedgehogs are similair, but with very slight variations due to being hand made and painted, making each one unique.
Complete in its own sturdy box, decorated with a small clay flower, two clay leaves and a in story scroll, telling a short tale of Hedgehog Mythology, inserted into a pottery leaf.
The Hedgehog measures approx 6 cm at longest point 3.5 cm width and approx 3 cm in height.
