Polished copper fits in so well with the steampunk theme of my shop, when I saw this dejected looking kettle I knew straight away that it would make a great decorative and unusual lamp, I hope you agree that it has turned out well.

Full description
A unique farmhouse/country cottage themed decorative table lamp made from a late Victorian/Edwardian copper kettle with a riveted brass handle. A new twist to the term ‘put the kettle on’. I have cleaned up the kettle and given it a light polish, it shines but it still shows plenty of patina. The (small) dents and pitting evidence of a long and hardworking life in the kitchen. Now it is reborn and has a new, extended life as an attractive and decorative lamp. The quality brass lampholder, almost completely hidden inside the body with just the retaining ring visible, is fitted with a 2W squirrel cage LED candle lamp, its warm light reflects beautifully off the polished copper. This lamp will give a country cottage / farmhouse feel to any room!
