I saw a key rack made from a large old key and the thought came to me that the old spanners I had surplus to requirements would make great alternatives!

Full description

An ideal gift for the mechanic in your life, an innovative set of four key hooks mounted onto a vintage unbranded spanner dating to the 1930s or early 40s. The spanner, or wrench, has had four hooks mounted onto it by drilling through and welding at the rear. Two further 5mm diameter countersunk mounting holes are provided so the unit can be mounted onto a door or wall. It is old, probably pre-war, as the steel is relatively soft and easily drilled. I have treated the assembly with beeswax to preserve it and seal in the patina.

Highlights;

7”/18cm wide

2”/5cm tall

1.25”/3.5cm deep
