Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.

The best donations! A kind lady I had never met before, contacted me to say would I be interested in a bag of old table linens?? This sweet, but unsophisticated domestic embroidery was one of the pieces in there. There are no faults, just an end of line making way for new stock.

Full description
A pretty little vintage floral embroidery make up bag, and an end of line, so it is going into my seconds Sunday sale. Perfect for storage as a handbag organiser, or for protecting precious items. It is sewn from the corner of a lovely floral vintage tablecloth which had seen better days. Its colours have a softly washed and faded feel, showing their history, and a period charm. The front has a scattering of springtime flowers and three little vintage buttons, whilst the back is made from recycled vintage denim. It would make a great present for a bride to be, for someone learning to embroider, or as a present for Mum.
The fabric is stitched onto cotton to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag.
Approx 16 by 16 cm with a purple 16 cm zip and flower head pull.
It is lined in a blue floral vintage cotton, and backed with distressed denim.
There is a hook for your finger, or for hanging it up as a little piece of craftwork, and it is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash on a gentle cool cycle, and dry naturally.
Your bag will be wrapped in clean, recycled packaging, and sent as RM 2nd class.
