Folk art pattern tote bag. This unusual folk art style tote bag is made from two different fabrics which complement each other beautifully. The handles, the lower front, and the whole of the back of the bag are made from beige fabric with vertical and horizontal white flecks. The upper front is made from a lovely print fabric with a delightful folk art pattern. The pattern depicts birds and flowers in shades of black, grey, golden brown and beige on a white background. Below the patterned panel I've added three decorative buttons, which co-ordinate beautifully with the folk art pattern. The centre button is a heart shaped wooden button with black and white stripes. It is flanked by two round black buttons. The bag is lined with a rich golden brown fabric which perfectly matches the golden brown accents in the folk art pattern.
This unusual tote bag with its delightful pattern and co-ordinating buttons is useful and versatile. It would also make a lovely gift, particularly for anyone who loves folk art.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end, and are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or carried as a handbag.
