Full description
A makeup bag in plum purple upholstery fabric with a decorative fabric patch collage. The main fabric is a luxurious textured plum purple fabric. The front collage consists of two rectangular pieces of fabric. One is lilac with a slight sheen and a woven pattern of small diamonds, and one is ivory with a floral pattern in pastel shades of lilac, sage green and white. I’ve frayed the fabric edges and secured the floral piece with decorative machine embroidery, and the lilac piece with hand embroidery. I’ve finished the design with two hand-made “Suffolk puff” fabric flowers in sage green and lilac, a white cotton lace circle and two co-ordinating wooden buttons. The bag fastens with a plum purple zip and is lined with abstract patterned fabric in shades of grey and lilac. The base of the bag is boxed giving lots of space inside.
This handy large-sized cosmetic bag can be used to store lots of make up and could also be used as a pencil case, or a storage pouch for other items. The bag, with its gorgeous fabrics and unique fabric patch design, would make a lovely gift.
