Full description
Mushrooms, flowers and ladybirds cushion. A rectangular cushion in rustic cream fabric with a beautiful appliqué and embroidered scene featuring mushrooms, flowers and ladybirds. The three mushrooms are made from deep red fabric and have stems of ivory cream. I've embroidered white French knots for the spots. In front of the mushrooms I've added clusters of felt flowers in pale yellow and pale blue which I've hand embroidered in place, along with some embroidered green leaves. Either side of the mushroom cluster, I've machine embroidered numerous delicate leafy stems, to which I've added embroidered French knot flowers. These give a cottage garden feel to the scene. One cluster of stems is blue-green with pale pink flowers and the other is a zesty green with purple flowers. On the biggest mushroom I've added two red felt ladybirds with hand embroidered black detailing. The cover has a concealed zip along the bottom and comes with a polyester hollow fibre cushion pad which conforms to safety requirements.
This beautiful and unique cushion would be the perfect luxury accessory for any sofa. With its delightful scene, it would make a lovely gift, particularly for anyone who loves mushrooms or cottage gardens.

20 inches (51cm) wide x 14 inches (35cm) high.
