Full description
Small teal rope bowl. This lovely little trinket bowl has been made from cotton rope, which has been coiled, whilst being stitched on my sewing machine, and formed into a bowl shape. During this process, sections of the rope have been wrapped with strips of fabric, adding a pretty striped effect to the finished dish. The rope is a gorgeous teal colour, and the fabric is cream with a terracotta, blue and grey floral pattern. The dish has been finished with a decorative loop and two wooden buttons, one on the inside and one on the outside of the bowl. The natural wood buttons are inscribed with the words “Handmade with love” and two tiny hearts.
This lovely little shallow bowl can be used to store all sorts of small knick-knacks, or just left empty as decorative ornament. It would make a lovely gift, perhaps for a new home.

6 inches (15cm) diameter x 2 inches (5cm) high
