Full description
Toiletry bag with floral chicken. This lovely wash bag is made from textured golden-beige upholstery fabric with an appliqué and hand embroidered chicken. The main body of the chicken is made from cream fabric with a slight sheen and a subtle stripe pattern in the weave. I’ve decorated the plain cream of the chicken’s body with a scattering of tiny hand embroidered flower clusters in shades of coral pink, pale salmon pink, golden yellow and pale blue. I’ve also added tiny pale green leaves. The chicken’s tail feathers are made from a pretty print fabric with a pattern of ditsy flowers in salmon, golden-yellow and grey. She has a duck-egg blue wing with a subtle floral pattern, to which I’ve added a golden-yellow felt flower, hand embroidered in place. She has a dark red comb and wattles with white polka dots, and a golden-yellow beak. I’ve outlined her with free-motion embroidery, which I’ve also used for her sleepy closed eye and eyelashes. The bag fastens with a dark red zip and is lined with red water-resistant fabric. The base of the bag is boxed to give extra space inside.
This lovely chicken would be the perfect travel companion for holidays and nights away.
