We have all had time to rest this year and that had me thinking about how as the wheel of the year turned into autumn, how a time for hibernating was upon us. I felt drawn to depicting this with nature and how the hare burrows down deep in the earth for shelter and warmth. I choose the colours of blues and green to depict the sleepy, soft, dreamy nature of the dreaming time. The leaves that the hare sleeps upon are imprinted from a plum tree in my garden and an ammonite further relates to the depth of the earth and its treasures it keeps within. The hare rests under the light from a full moon.

Full description
This is a detailed bespoke ceramic wall hanging depicting the hare asleep in a burrow in the night, warm and cosy. The length of the ceramic is approx 6" plus the dangling leaf extra and width is 5 and a quarter inches. There is a wall hook attached to the back for easy hanging.
All the artwork is my own design and this piece is handmade and hand painted, no decals were used in the process. For indoor use only. The price is for one item, the photograph with the sleeping fox is for aesthetics only.
