This piece was inspired by the never ending spiral of the ammonite and the relationship between the Hare, Fox and Badger in nature. Walking around our village I have seen Hares and luckily a couple of times a Fox, alas no Badgers as yet! I felt drawn to creating a piece of art that incorporated leaves, an ammonite and the hare, fox and badger to connect the land, nature and animals around us together. The spiral of the ammonite ties in with the spiral on the hare reminding us of the never ending circle of life in nature.

Full description
This piece is one of only 3 limited edition Into the Woods, Hare, Badger & Fox ceramic wall hangings. Each part is handmade in earthenware clay, hand painted individually, glazed and put together from an original design idea. The length of the ceramic is approx 15" plus the added cord for hanging. The width at the widest part , the hare is approx 9". Each piece is signed and numbered on the back. . The ceramic is hung from waxed cotton navy cord and is for inside decor only. This is NOT a toy. This is No.2 , No.1 is now sold.
