Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

It so hard for me to walk past these vintage linens crumpled up at car boots and charity shops. Often so beautifully hand worked, they call out to me to be reused and appreciated once again.
There is a matching purse to this one in lilac and purple also in my shop right now.

Full description
This sweet zip up bag is made from a section of a vintage tablecloth. The front design is a lovely old hand embroidered floral spray, perfect as a little make up or cosmetics bag. It would also make a pretty Summer clutch or purse. There are three vintage mother of pearl buttons on the front, and the back is made from blue recycled denim to give it some edge. It would make a great present for a vintage lover, to take to a Summer wedding, or as a Mothers day present.
The embroidery has been stitched onto cotton to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 20 cm by 15 cm with an olive green zip opening of 20 cm.
The front is vintage embroidered linen, with 3 vintage mother of pearl buttons, and the back is made from blue recycled denim.
The lining is a 1980’s blue and yellow floral cotton, and the bag is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
You can use the finger hook for twirling, or to hang up your little bag as a piece of craft work in its own right.
I like to reuse when I can. Your bag will be posted out using clean, recycled packaging, and sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.
