Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again.
I will be re-stocking slowly but surely after Christmas, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

What a fabulous donation from a friend this was. A beautiful, but well used table cloth. I could see that among the fraying, and patches and tea stains, was some beautiful bags struggling to get out!

Full description
A beautiful piece of vintage roses embroidery makes this into a very pretty clutch, or make up bag. The cross stitch is so dense, it appears like tapestry from a distance, and the little cut out lacy sections make it an unusual pattern. Perfect as a Mother’s Day gift, it would also make a lovely present for an embroiderer, or someone with a fabric addiction.
The embroidered front has been stitched onto canvas to give it some body
The back is made from recycled blue denim
The width is 22 cm, widening to 24 at the bottom
There is a dusty blue zip opening measuring 22 cm
The zip closes with an embroidered flower head pull
There are some mother of pearl buttons scattered on the front
The lining is a pretty vintage pink floral cotton
There is a finger hook to the top RHS so it can be used as a little clutch, or to hook it up somewhere as a piece of art work in its own right
It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag
I try to recycle where I can. Your bag will be posted out to you wrapped in clean, recycled packaging. It will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting, which takes 3 working days.
