Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

I feel privileged when I spot a piece of original Liberty fabric crumpled in the corner of a second hand shop. Although this had seen some life, I think its washed out pastel feel only adds to its charm.

Full description
A make up bag or purse made from a wonderful 1970’s vintage Liberty fabric. This classic Collier Campbell design, with its painterly flowers, is typical of their wonderful images for Liberty. Headphone storage, keepsakes or coins, these little purses are useful all rounders, practical as well as rather lovely. Its hard to believe that this contemporary looking design was created 40 odd years ago! It would make a lovely present for a Liberty or vintage textiles lover, as a present for Mum, or anyone needing a virtual hug right now.
The fabric has been backed onto cotton to strengthen it, but it is still soft.
Its width is 16cm and the depth is 12cm.
It closes with a dusty pink zip measuring 16cm, and is lined with a dusty blue poly cotton fabric.
There is a finger hook, so you can hang it up and admire the design in its own right, and it is finished off with my own embroidered label.
This little purse prefers a gentle wash, and a clothes line to dry.
I like to reuse where possible. Your bag will be posted out to you packaged in clean, recycled wrapping from my hoard, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
