Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

This little tray cloth was one of nicest donations that I received last year. I’ve been dying to try it out, and get the little Geisha to smile a little!

Vintage embroidery Japanese lady and blossom make up bag
This vintage embroidery traycloth of a Japanese lady with blossoms has made up into the sweetest little make up bag. It could also carry travel size toiletries or store special mementos.
This is such an unusual design, and would make a great present for a vintage textiles fan, a
traveller to Japan, or as a Mother’s Day gift.
The embroidery has been backed onto cotton, but it is still soft
It measures 22 cm across
It measures 15 cm down
There is a dusty blue zip opening of 22 cm
The front has an illustration of a lady in a kimono and flowers
The back has a small bunch of flowers in the bottom corner
There are 2 metal covered buttons on the front
There is a finger hook, so you can hang it up and admire the embroidery
There is a vintage cotton lining of tiny orange flowers
It is finished with my own embroidered name tag
I like to reuse where I can. Your bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be sent as royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting, which takes 3 working days
