When I found this pretty vintage fabric at the York Car Boot sale, I fell in love with its soft and faded colours.The botanicals design is so on trend, it’s hard to believe that this design is in fact about 30 years old and not a contemporary print. It's definitely worth searching out these lovely old prints and recycling them into something new.

Full description
The lovely botanical illustrations all over this sturdy little bag are reminiscent of old book illustrations. Made from a lovely piece of vintage furnishing fabric, the colours are washed and faded, and the flowers scattered all over the surface. It would make a great gift for a gardener or vintage fabric lover.
This simple unlined bag still packs a punch. It is made with strong French seams, and has a small internal pocket, so you will always know where your keys are.
It measures 32cm wide
It is 36cm long
The inside pocket measures 15cm by 12cm, and is edged with bias binding.
There is a facing inside around the top edge to give it some body, and a neat finish.
There are two shoulder straps each measuring 63cm long to fit snugly over your shoulder, but short enough to use as a handheld bag if you prefer.
The bag will roll up tightly to fit into its matching little wallet, which is finished with my own embroidered name tag. It will then lie neatly inside your handbag.
This bag can be washed on a cool, short machine wash, and likes to be hung on the line to dry. It is best ironed when slightly damp.
I love to reuse things when I can. Your bag will arrive creatively wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be posted out by Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of sending which takes about 3 working days.
