Full description
Nuno felted using fine layers of super soft merino wool fibres, in purple and pink shades, on a silk chiffon base, this scarf would make a beautiful accessory to any outfit. It is gorgeously soft and lightweight and suitable for wear in all seasons, draped around the shoulders on a cool summer evening or wrapped around the neck on a cold winters day.
The nuno felting process causes woollen fibres placed in a very fine layer to penetrate and bind with a silk chiffon base fabric which in turn provides strength for the scarf. The scarf is felted on both sides.
The resulting scarf measures approximately 130cm (51") x 30cm (12") and will arrive wrapped in pretty floral tissue paper making it an ideal gift. Perfect as a 7th wedding anniversary "woollen" gift or any other occasion. Full washing instructions and a short description of the nuno felting process are included.
Hand wash in warm water.
