Full description
A lovely countryside scene of sheep grazing in the hills, this gorgeous textile art picture has been made using strips of silk fabric needle felted to a piece of backing felt. Various other fibres have been added in small amounts to enhance the picture and add detail and texture. The picture is a landscape showing sheep grazing in the hills. The process of needle felting the fabric and fibres creates a wonderful texture to the work and binds everything together, negating the need for any sewing.
The completed picture has been framed with a white card mount. The wooden frame measures approximately 15cm x 16cm and the picture size is 10cm x 10cm. Brass fittings and a hanging string have been added to the rear of the frame.
Please note: the photographs have been taken with the glass removed from the frame to avoid unwanted reflections.
