Full description
A sweet miniature 3d needle felted scene. This ornament is of a swan swimming among the bulrushes. The swan has been needle felted using woollen fibres and a barbed felting needle with an orange beak made from silk clay. The bulrushes are created by wrapping woollen fibres around a green wire stem and the leaves cut from a piece of green felt. The component pieces have then been mounted on a small (8cm x 3cm) wooden plaque which has been covered in a piece of blue felt embellished with silk fibres to represent water. The ornament stands approximately 4cm tall with the swan measuring approximately 4.5cm long.
A great ornament or miniature scene that could be used in a dolls house.
