Crinoline lady vintage embroidery, toiletries, make up bag or storage pouch.
Unashamedly nostalgic and sentimental, the crinoline lady is a bit of an embroidery icon, and still the mainstay of charity shops.
This is a sweet, unsophisticated version, possibly sewn by a child. It makes into a very pretty purse or keepsakes bag.
The front has been stitched onto cotton to strengthen it.
The bag measures 22cm across
It measures 14 cm down
There is a purple zip opening of 22 cm
There is a hook to the RHS for twirling around your finger, or for hanging it up somewhere nice, and admiring it as a piece of craft work in its own right.
There is a blue and purple cotton floral lining
The back is made from washed recycled denim, to give it an edge and some body
There are some clusters of vintage mother of pearl buttons on the front
It is finished with my own embroidered name tag

I like to reuse where possible. Your purse will arrive packaged in clean, recycled wrapping.
It will be posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class with certificate of posting. This takes about 3 days. Let me know if you need it sooner, and want an upgrade.
