I wanted to take a segment out of this lovely old vintage fabric, to highlight the sense of peering out of the wood and into the meadow. We all loved Bambi in our household, and it makes me nostalgic for those days.

Full description
Peer into the magical Sanderson glen which adorns the front of this sturdy little tote or book bag. Made from a lovely piece of Sanderson vintage furnishing fabric, it has a pretty woodland scene to the front, and a full blown floral motif to the back.
This simple unlined bag still packs a punch. It is made with strong French seams, and has a small internal pocket, so you will always know where your keys are.
It measures 32cm wide
It is 37 cm long
The inside pocket is 8cm by 12cm. It is edged with bias binding, and has my own embroidered name tag stitched on the front.
There is a facing inside around the top edge to give it some body, and a neat finish.
There are two shoulder straps each measuring 65 cm long to fit snuggly over your shoulder, but short enough to use as a handheld bag if you prefer.
The bag will roll up tightly to fit into its own little wallet measuring 14cm by 18cm, and will nestle neatly inside your handbag.
This bag can be hand washed, or put on a cool, short machine wash, and ironed when it is oh so slightly damp.
And finally, these bags are made up one by one. The pattern placement on the back will vary from bag to bag.

It will be posted out by Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of sending, and will require a signature.
