There's a shop in Hereford that sells little scraps of fabric for 10p each and all money raised from selling those scraps goes to a hospice in Herefordshire. I love love love all the different colours and pattern in that scrap box and always leave that shop with a handful. Firstly I thought they'd be great for applique but then I thought they'd also be perfect for making embroidered cards...et voila!
This piece of fabric made me think of all things tropical and you can't get more tropical than a flamingo! I love the contrast between the bright pink and the vibrant green!
