Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

Even on holiday, I can’t resist a good Charity shop. I found this pretty 1960's fabric whilst at The Edinburgh Festival. It was winking at me from the Salvation Army Shop, and I was powerless to resist !
I have made the cutest little skirts from it, as well as these individual little zip up bags.

Full description
This great 1960's screen- printed fabric has a bold, green geometric pattern of olives over its surface. It has a fresh, springtime colour palette, and even though it is 50 years old, it looks so contemporary.This could have been designed today.
The fabric is stitched onto canvas to give it some body
There is a grey zip opening measuring 21 cms
The width is 21 cms at the opening, widening to 23 cms at the base
There is a tuck at each end of the base so it can stand up. The base is 3 cm wide
The height measures 15 cm
There is a practical loop so you can hang it up in your bedroom as a little bit of artwork in its own right, or twirl it round your finger like a mini clutch bag. You decide.
This bag is lined with old skool black and white ticking
It is finished with my own embroidered name tag
To prolong its life, please hand wash in not too hot water, and iron slightly damp
I like to re-use as much as possible. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, re-cycled packaging
It will be sent out to you by Royal Mail 1st class with proof of posting.
