The original painting in acrylics and graphite pencil on canvas, which is now sold, was done for a special exhibition in Gallery1608 in Bushmills, an historic village on N. Ireland`s beautiful north coast. The Italian cycling competition, Il Giro d`Italia, did a "stage" here two years ago, which went through the village, right past the gallery`s door, and they had a special bicycle themed show to celebrate.
Admittedly, this cyclist doesn`t look like she`s in a race, but that`s the beauty of artistic license :)

In the hopefully unlikely event of a return, postage must be covered by the buyer and the item returned to me in the same condition it was sent out in. Full description
This is a limited edition giclée print on beautiful 320 gsm German Hahnemuhle etching paper, of an original painting which is now sold. "Giclée" is just a fancy French word meaning that the print is of an exceptionally high standard, using special archival, highly lightfast inks.
The edition run is 200. (This is why this is cheaper than other limited editons with a smaller edition number, even though they might be the same size).
Your print will come numbered, titled and signed in pencil on the front below the image, in the traditional manner.
It measures 40 x 30 cms, approximately A3 size, with a 2.5 cms white border all around so that I can sign it and you can put a mount on it before framing.
For this type of paper, which is quite thick, and size of print, it will be sent flat, placed in a cellophane envelope, sandwiched between pieces of mountboard and sent in a hardbacked envelope. The second photo is only to give you an idea of how it looks mounted. You will be free to choose your own size and colour. This listing is for the print only.
The second photo gives you an idea of how it would look mounted.
I also have this image available as an art card: see separate listing.
Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
PLEASE NOTE: NO SALE TRANSFERS THE COPYRIGHT, WHICH REMAINS THE SOLE PROPERTY OF THE ARTIST. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE IMAGES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, THANK YOU.
