Full description
This artwork is very dear to my heart because it carries the name of my goddaughter, Jasmine. The tulip petals used here come from my own garden in Finland. I remember planting them and watching them grow during the long summer days. By preserving these specific flowers, I wanted to create a bridge between my garden and the love I have for my goddaughter.
I carefully collected these petals from my garden in July 2022. To honor the name Jasmine, I wanted the piece to feel soft but also very precious. I layered the tulip petals on Finnish birch wood and added gold leaf. I used real freshwater pearls hidden beneath the petals; they act as a support to create a beautiful relief and 3D effect. It is a tribute to nature's renewal and the beauty of a new generation.
Size: 13x18 cm artwork in a 23x28x6 cm deep box frame.
Materials: Dried tulip petals from my Finnish garden, Finnish birch, gold leaf, freshwater pearls and eco-label acrylic.
Glass: I used AR 92 anti-reflective glass so you can see every detail and texture clearly.
Natural Evolution: This is a living piece. Because I use real organic petals, the colors will change a little bit over time. This is a beautiful reminder that everything in nature grows and evolves. Please do not hang it in a humid place.

I hope Jasmine brings a sense of peace and soft light into your home. It was made with a lot of heart, thinking about my garden and the people I love. It is ready to find a new home where it will be cherished.
