This piece draws inspiration from the Bois de Vincennes gardens in Paris, capturing the serene beauty of a walk through poppies and roses. Each petal was carefully arranged to reflect the natural rhythm of the garden, preserving the ephemeral colors of late summer.

A memory of a sunny lunch in Paris.
This artwork was born on a beautiful day in the Bois de Vincennes. I was with dear friends and their child. Our kids played together like cousins. I remember the park was full of green life and the laughter was everywhere. I didn't have a flower press with me, so I tucked these poppies and roses into my passport to keep that happy moment safe. (don't do that!)
I made this piece before I knew that life would become difficult for this family. To me, this frame is a way to protect the truth of that day. It is a tribute to the beauty that was real and the friendship between the children.
I hope this piece gives the strength to see the light that is still there. It is a message of courage and hope. Sometimes, we need to look at the beauty we built to find the power to forgive and move forward. Like these petals, love can be fragile, but it is also very strong.
Size: 27x27x6 cm (Deep box frame).
Materials: Dried poppy and rose petals, eco-friendly Finnish birch, gold leaf, and eco-label acrylic.
Natural Evolution: This is a living piece. Because I use real flowers, the colors will change a little bit over time. This is normal and beautiful. Please do not hang it in a humid place.
