Drawing inspiration from my garden and the Malvern Common, I create jewellery that forges a quiet connection between the wearer and the natural world. This design is part of a larger mixed media piece. Sections of the mixed media are cut in to pendants, earrings and brooches that are resin coated and have a wood veneer applied. This particular design was inspire by the colours and foliage of Autumn.

Full description
The fern leaf pendant was created from a larger mixed media painting which was hand cut in to botanical jewellery designs.
Each design is influenced by the colours of the natural landscape and includes pressed flower prints taken from plants in my own garden.
Each pendant is a layer of art board, hand cut and backed with a wood veneer. A layer of resin is applied to protect the surface and this is sanded to a glass like finish.
This pendant includes a ceramic bead and copper details and is completed with an 18 inch copper plated chain.
