This design was created using elements from my garden in Malvern. Each piece is hand cut from a mixed media art work. No two pieces are alike.

Full description
This brooch has a combination of painted and printed elements.
Each piece begins with a painting—layered in acrylic colours of cream, green, gold and bronze and is printed with layers of texture including printed flowers from my garden. Shapes are then carefully hand cut in to the brooch designs. The artwork is backed with wood veneer, and sealed in resin to become a one-of-a-kind brooch. The texture after sanding the resin creates a matt glass, vintage feel. This particular piece was created using a bio resin that is made up of 40% plant based materials.
