I love it when people have an embroidered table cloth for sale at the car boot. Often with a personal attachment, they appreciate that I am going to give it a new life and purpose, and then they need not feel bad about selling it.There is a matching kitten purse also in my shop right now.

Full description
This little bucket bag or handbag is upcycled from an old and faded vintage tablecloth, illustrated with sweet farm yard animals. This was once a charming piece of table linen, with its border of animals worked in tiny cross stitches, but it had fallen on hard times. Luckily, I was able to work around the damaged sections and produce a collection of little bags. Although dinky, it is just large enough to hold your essentials. It has a decorative button and loop fastening, as well as a magnetic snap on the inside facing. Unashamedly nostalgic, this little bag would make a great present for a vintage fabric collector, or an animal lover.
The linen is a soft open weave and has been stitched onto canvas to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag. It has embroidered animals along the bottom and LHS edges.
It has a pair of handles, each 30 cm long to fit snuggly around your hands.
It measures 24 cm by 24 cm with boxed in ends to make it more roomy.
It is lined with a vintage animal print fabric, and the back is made of recycled denim.It is finished off inside with a facing.
It fastens with a magnetic clasp, as well as with a large vintage button and loop closure. It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please hand wash or use a short machine wash, and leave to dry naturally.
Your bag will be posted out in clean, recycled wrapping and sent as RM 2nd class.
