Full description
This a nice little aviation themed clock just finished. I bought the genuine new old stock aircraft gauge facia and had to create a clock around it. A classic rear car fog light gave up its back and I made a base plate out of 8mm ally. These are actually powder coated in satin black. A solid stainless steel arm was made to bring it together.
A new quartz movement is fitted (with a new battery). There is access to the thumbwheel on the movement for clocks going forward or back, but you would need to source a Allan key and a 8mm spanner to change the battery (which shouldn't be often at all). It measures 21cm high.
Like all of my pieces for sale on Folksy at present, it is a one-off and exclusive to Folksy. Could be a great gift for that aviation enthusiast?
