Full description
This started with a billet of aluminium - turned on my lathe to produce a suitable (weighted) base. More turned aluminium holds mild steel solid bar to act as the arm for the lamp. These bars are wrapped in neutral tan coloured cord. A E27 (large screw) bulb holder is fitted to a modified motorcycle piston (Yamaha DT250MX).
This lamp comes with two different bulbs - both dimmable. The first is a neutral white light (with a clear bulb) and the second is a trick metallic opal bulb that looks amazing!
All electrics are new and the lamp is fitted with a dimmer switch.
A cork base is fitted to protect your surfaces.
Could work well in many a room/décor setting...
