Hi and welcome to Born Again Bears. This name began as the first bears I made were as keepsakes and memories, made by bringing precious items back to new beginnings as special bears to cherish.
I enjoy making all different types and sizes of bears and indeed mice and have enjoyed becoming part of the Folksy family as an outlet for this.
International postage is a new area for me and I will happily combine postage. Please contact me for a price for this and I will do what I can to keep the cost as low as possible.

Full description
Tiggy is a sweetheart with very unruly soft fur patterned with stripes, hence the name (she also reminds me a little of a hedgehog). She is around 12 inches tall, fully jointed with traditional nut and bolt joints and has beautiful English glass eyes, an embroidered nose and mouth.
I love to repurpose fabrics which can be a challenge creating a pattern to fit the fabric. Tiggy is cut from a beautiful but sadly unwanted faux fur collar and there will never be another bear the same because of this. I have used felted wool fabric from a jumper for her paw pads and this complements her fur beautifully.
Tiggy has a cute little ear bow which can be removed to restyle and I have knitted her a cardigan in flecked purple heather wool.
I will send Tiggy via Royal Mail 24 hour tracked wrapped in tissue safely inside a clean reused box.
Please note this is a collectable bear and not suitable as a toy for young children.
