Hi and welcome to Born Again Bears. This name began as the first bears I made were as keepsakes and memories, made by bringing precious items back to new beginnings as special bears to cherish.
I enjoy making all different types and sizes of bears and indeed mice and have enjoyed becoming part of the Folksy family as an outlet for this.
International postage is a new area for me and I will happily combine postage. Please contact me for a price for this and I will do what I can to keep the cost as low as possible.

Everyone needs a bear and this little bear, at only 5 inches tall can sit on a shelf or travel with you. He would make a great gift for any occasion or just treat yourself even. Bears are a lovely way to convey many emotions, memories and sentiments.
He comes in a box which is a 4 inch cube so that when you untie the ribbon he is sitting nestled in tissue paper holding a heart.
I have made several of these bears to choose from (listed separately) and each will be unique according to the fabric. I like to use bits and pieces from my workroom that have been collected, donated whatever. I am a complete hoarder!
This little bear is made from vintage embroidered pocket handkerchiefs which I have lined to reinforce. She has tiny button jointed arms, a joint to the neck and her stitched in legs look great sitting down. The eyes are black onyx beads and to finish, an embroidered face. The heart is made from wool felt and I added a little lace collar tied with a bow around the neck.
I will send the gift box wrapped so it can be used as a gift via Royal Mail 48hr tracked. Included is a card heart with my Born Again Bears stamp. This is blank on the reverse and you could write your own message here.
The bear is not suitable as a toy for young children but a lovely thoughtful gift for anyone over 14.
