This item was made after rediscovering a tin of old crystal beads I'd forgotten. The little rondelles with crystal stones are from a necklace I've had for years, I tried to repair it but it ended up too short and I don't think I would wear it anyway.
I love these decorations, it's difficult not to keep them all for my tree.

An elegant Christmas ornament made from vintage crystal bicone beads and crystal rondelles.
The beads and rondelles are from old necklaces, these come from two different ones, the beads have been in a tin for years, the rondelles came from a necklace I took apart, after trying to repair it, and realising I would never wear it anyway.
The beads get gradually smaller from bottom to top, the bottom rondelle is slightly larger than the others which are all the same size as each other.
The beads are strung on nylon covered wire which also forms the hanging loop. The Decoration is finished with 1 green seed bead at the bottom and a clear one at the top, two silver coloured crimps hold everything together.
The length of the decoration, including the loop, is 17cm the largest bead is approximately 2x2cm. The beads on their own measure approximatey 8.5cm long.
