This is one of my more complex silver and copper pendants, it was quite tricky to get the wires to stay where I wanted them to form a nice even spiral and all touching in the centre.
I'm very pleased with the result.

Full description
A disc of copper with silver wire fused to it in a spiralling circle, which reminded me of a catherine wheel. The wire is fused to the copper by heating it with a blow torch until almost the melting point, the silver forms a layer under parts of the wires, and little blobs at the ends.
The wires are varying lengths so the centre of the spiral is off centre.
After cleaning, the disc is domed slightly and polished, I usually heat these pieces again after polishing to 'paint' the copper with random colours but I decided not to as I quite like the shiny copper finish.
A copper jump ring is fixed to the ring at the top of the disc and the pendant it hung on a fine, red, cotton cord, which is adjustable via two sliding knots. The length can be adjusted from approximately 70cm down to aproximately 40cm.
The pendant measures 2.5cm across.
