TasWood is waking to birdsong, brighter skies, and the first rustle of spring. As the seasons turn, new treasures are arriving in the studio — each one hand‑drawn, hand‑printed, and rooted in quiet woodland magic.

Mother’s Day gifts are now available, including Finn’s Gift of Gloves — an illustration born from a childhood misunderstanding, shaped into a tale of innocence, friendship and folklore. Ink, faerie details and soft watercolour washes bring the story to life, making it a meaningful choice for someone special.

The Easter Hare will be hopping through the Forgotten Tracks Post Portal very soon, carrying a pocketful of seasonal magic. The Easter Hare Collection will be available from the 23rd February, filled with story‑led keepsakes for little explorers.

Favouriting my shop is the best way to catch new arrivals, seasonal stories, and the moment the Easter Hare’s surprises land in TasWood.

This jug grew from a moment of childhood wonder—Finn Willowbrush once believed foxgloves weren’t flowers, but tiny gloves for woodland foxes. But as Petalwing gently reveals in the poem, there’s truth tucked inside that whimsy: in folklore, foxgloves were said to guide silent paws and protect the unseen paths of the wild.

Finn’s Gift of Gloves became a poem and illustration that celebrates both the charm of misheard words and the deeper magic of the natural world. Whether it’s filled with blooms, pencils or soft leaves, this piece carries a little folklore into everyday life.

Full description

A jug for blooms, brushes, or wildwood wonder…

This white ceramic jug features my original ink & watercolour illustration of Finn Willowbrush, the fox cub who once mistook foxgloves for tiny gloves—and stumbled into a much-loved tale of folklore and faerie logic.

On the reverse is the sentiment: “Where Magic Blooms, Just for You,” with the option to personalise it with a name. Each jug also comes with a printed copy of Finn’s Gift of Gloves poem, ready to read, gift, or tuck into a favourite nook.

Use it to pour milk at breakfast, keep water close at hand in your office, or fill it with fresh blooms from the garden. It also makes a charming pencil pot or craft caddy—bringing a touch of TasWood magic to any corner of your home.
